Nebraska LB 371 — Civil Remedies for Unauthorized Synthetic Intimate Content (2025)
Nebraska LB 371 creates civil remedies for victims of non-consensual synthetic intimate imagery, including AI-generated deepfakes. Allows victims to sue creators and distributors for actual damages, statutory damages, and attorney's fees. Does not require the perpetrator to have known the content would be distributed.
