35-year-old man dies after tripping on glass table during VR gameplay due to inaccurate spatial mapping

A man died after tripping and falling on a glass table while using a VR headset in his apartment. The incident occurred when the virtual reality game failed to accurately map his living space, causing him to collide with a real-world object. The fall resulted in severe injuries, with glass shards slicing into his body, leading to fatal blood loss. He was found dead in his apartment after bleeding out. The incident was recreated in a simulation video by YouTuber Zack D. Films. According to reports, a 44-year-old man from Moscow, Russia, died in a similar incident in late 2017.
