Tesla Model 3 driver sustains injury after Full Self-Driving crash in Alabama

A Tesla Model 3 with the "Full Self-Driving" driver assistance feature enabled swerved off a country road, crashed into a fence, and flipped onto its roof. The incident occurred in Alabama and was captured in a video that went viral on Reddit. The driver, Wally, a Tesla owner, sustained a cut to his chin requiring seven stitches. The crash happened while the vehicle was driving on Hardware 4, the latest onboard computer system, and there was no clear cause identified from the road conditions. The incident adds to a series of crashes linked to Tesla’s driver assistance software, which still requires drivers to be ready to take control at any time.
