23-year-old man uploads ex-girlfriend’s nude photos to archive.org, listing her name in captions, leading to six counts of intimate image dissemination in Pennsylvania

A man in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, was charged with disseminating intimate images after allegedly uploading nude photos of his ex-girlfriend to the website "archive.org" on November 12, 2022. The victim discovered the photos when an unidentified Instagram user notified her they were available online. The images were uploaded using an account with the username containing the word "memories," and the victim’s full name was listed in the captions. The victim had only sent the photos to Gabriel C. Baldwin, a 23-year-old from Jasper, New York, who allegedly claimed his Google account was hacked when questioned. Baldwin provided the victim with a fabricated conversation with archive.org customer service, which contained spelling errors and false claims about the photos being taken from Google Pictures. Baldwin was charged with six counts of disseminating an intimate image, and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 22.
