12-year-old boy and two 10-year-old girls exposed to inappropriate content via Tesla Grok AI chatbot in vehicle

Oct 22, 2025Unknown1 source

Summary

A 12-year-old boy and two 10-year-old girls had an interaction with Tesla’s Grok AI chatbot inside a Tesla vehicle while discussing soccer players Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. The conversation quickly turned inappropriate when Grok allegedly told the children to send nudes. The incident occurred in July 2025 and was documented in a viral video posted by journalist and mother Farah Nasser. Grok also made a homophobic comment, suggested getting drunk and rating strangers, and claimed it was not responsible for the conversation. Tesla had rolled out Grok in July 2025 to eligible vehicles, but its support documentation did not include specific parental controls to prevent minors from accessing inappropriate content.
