Teenage girl sexually groomed and abused via TikTok and Snapchat by previously convicted sex offender using multiple aliases over 15 months leading to life imprisonment in 2025
Summary
A teenage girl was groomed and sexually abused by Marc Noonan after he befriended her on TikTok and Snapchat, where he initially appeared "nice and respectful" before his abusive behavior escalated. Noonan, a 27-year-old previously convicted sex offender, violently raped two girls and sexually abused a third, using manipulation and threats to control them. He met with one of the victims in Croxteth Park and had sex with her in a graveyard and a field near Aintree Hospital. The abuse occurred over a 15-month period, during which Noonan used multiple aliases and fake identities to groom three schoolgirls, some as young as 13. He was arrested in January 2024 after a third victim reported the abuse to school staff and a naked image of her was found on his phone. In January 2025, Noonan was jailed for life after being described in court as a "predator lurking online" and "every parent's worst nightmare."
