A 13-year-old Westmoreland County teen was lured to Philadelphia through messages on TikTok and allegedly sexually assaulted by Angel Lopez in his apartment in March. Lopez paid for the girl’s Uber to Philadelphia, and when she tried to leave, he allegedly told her, “They won't be able to find you anyway.” The victim said she felt unsafe during the encounter and scattered strands of her hair in the apartment to leave DNA evidence. She escaped when she heard someone in the hallway and told police she hoped the person would call for help if Lopez came after her. Lopez has been charged with kidnapping and sexual abuse of a minor and is scheduled to appear in court again on May 14.
