The man, identified as Saily, pretended to be 16 years old and groomed the girl online in May 2024 before meeting in person in June 2024. During their online relationship, Saily pressured the girl to send nude images and videos and became aggressive when she refused. The pair met at a service station carpark and were later found in a sports field where the assault occurred. The incident was discovered in August 2024 during a routine traffic stop, leading to a police investigation. Saily was remanded in custody and is scheduled to reappear for sentencing on December 17.
